Vegetation on foot path and road

Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 16:18, Tuesday 10 September 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There is significant growth of weeds along St John's Road in general but especially in front of St John's Primary School. This reduces the available space for children to walk safely on the pavement.

  • The amount of vegetation means that water cannot run off from the pavement and is creating deep puddles on the narrow walk way. Water cannot easily access the drain because of the overgrowth of vegatation. People may walk in the road rather than stay on the pavement.

  • Weeds need clearing from entrance to primary school. Overgrown, unslightly and causing access issues in a tight space. Also adding to problems with flooding on pavement, causing difficulty for young children and families to access primary school. Please clear weeds as soon as possible
