Tree coming down and broken manhole cover
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
There is an ivy covered tree coming down and partly covering the lane. It is very precarious and about to fall. School children walk along this lane. Also I reported a broken manhole cover, in the same vicinity, on 3 June last year. Somebody came out quite quickly and put up 2 cones a safety fence. I phoned again on 12 Sept 2023 and I think the reference number is 4986382. I phoned again on 23 Nov 2023 and it had been closed as it was scheduled to be fixed in the October. It still hasn’t been fixed and the cones and fence keep getting moved. It would be great if it could be sorted soon. With thanks.

Hi there, just to let you know that my husband has cleared the tree. But the manhole cover still needs replacing. The two bollards have been thrown in the brook etc and are missing. We have had to retrieve the barrier on a number of occasions, including getting it out of the brook and the woods. Please would you fix this soon as we are getting fed up with policing it.
