Overgrown hedges and bramble obstruction pavement

Reported via iOS in the Hedges category anonymously at 09:13, Sunday 8 September 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The hedge outside Bertram house on Park Close by the junction with park Road is once again overgrown by around 3 feet. This is completely obstructing the footpath and causing people to step into the road. There are also brambles in the bush which are protruding out of the bush. This has already cut the face of a woman walking past the bush. Evidently the landlord is making no effort to manage this and previous trimming has been inadequate. In my view the bush should be cut back to the edge of the original footpath. Previous reports have resulted in a delay if several weeks before the issue is inadequately resolved. The lime tree on the corner of the junction is also overgrown from the base obstructing the footpath which is the councils responsibility.
