  • Blocked drainage points in Bampton Road starting at the junction with Marsh Lane and further into Clanfield for approximately 4-5 houses along that same Street. Marsh Lane is particularly bad because of the massive damage caused to the drainage ditch heading south on the left hand side of that Lane. Some very serious work is needed to put that road right after the heavy lorries going back and forth to the sewage works and beyond to the wood chip business a quarter of a mile down Marsh Lane. This has been the cause of much flooding directly along the Bampton Road into Clanfield itself over the past 20 years, most recently in January this year.
