Cycle path unlit

Reported via mobile in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 18:05, Thursday 5 September 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Short stretch of cycle path next to St Nicholas School is totally unlit at night. Scary and offputting for walkers and cyclists (including me). Lights from school at night for not percolate through the bushes and trees. Pls can you consider adding some light here? Thank you.

  • Cycle paths in east oxford - especially iffley road and marston road - are dangerous because the reflective posts are getting scratched. each row of reflective posts has become hazardous because the first two of each row is very badly scratched so they are no longer reflecting car and cycle lights. this is dangerous, as we can't see the beginning of each row. please investigate and renew the refllective paint on these posts. we welcome these protected cycle paths!

  • We see the problem continues on warneford lane, in one direction at least. this wonderful project to improve cycle safely will go down the tubes unless somebody renews the reflective paint on the posts. thankyou
