Conifer hedge is unmanaged and now outgrown its space

The conifer hedge next to the driveway of number 4 orchard piece has outgrown its space both height wise and width wise, and needs removing. Reversing out of the drive is increasingly difficult with its ever expanding width - we do have to trim it ourselves but it is also way too high now and growing into trees in the neighbouring orchard, preventing light getting through to them and causing die back of some trees. It should be removed as no one maintains it except we do what we can - it is now too big for its space, and you can’t cut into its girth as it will not grow back - leaving it unsightly. Leylandii confier trees do absolutely nothing for wildlife either.

I forgot to mention that highways have already insisted on the removal of this hedge in order to facilitate the relocated access point to a new development which has been approved by cdc: link/ ref number for this is https://planningregister.cherwell.gov.uk/ Planning/ Display/ 23/ 00334/ F The council had no objections to this project at the meeting last November - the applicant is just in the process of doing a biodiversity net gain report before it gets full approval. So this hedge will anyway need removing soon!
