Safety Hazard in carriageway

Reported via desktop anonymously at 15:51, Sunday 1 September 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 1 minute later

Stanford Road SN7. This is a new problem (on the opposite side of the road to the collapsed wall reported by others-Council ref ENQ241003970). I live very locally and have noticed this problem for the first time today, Sunday 1 September. The new problem is a short stretch of collapsing wall under the raised pavement on the hotel side of the road. Several large blocks of stone have fallen into the carriageway. Cars going up towards the Sports Ground etc are going to have difficulties avoiding this hazard, especially at night. The problem is more difficult because of parked cars and the collapsed wall on the other side of the road.

Council ref: ENQ241015570
