Gully completely flooded

Reported via desktop in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 16:55, Saturday 31 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Gully completely flooded on 1st and 24th August during heavy rain, though apparently not blocked. It’s obviously too small and inefficient. The manhole next to it in Hart Street, Wallingford, has water bubbling out of it. This is only a few minutes after the heavy rain started, though there had been lighter rain earlier for some hours.

  • This gully, drain and it’s lines have not been properly jetted. Today it overflowed into Wood Street, creating a very large pool, and endangering Priory Mews.
