At various places along its entire length this shared foot and cycle path is overgrown with high bramble. In many places a third up to half of the width is overgrown. This damages the surface longer term. The immediate effect is that it is not possible to pass someone on a bike, for two bikes in different directions to pass, or for two people to walk next to each other. This results in dangerous situations and leads cyclist to go on the main road, which is even more dangerous because of the 40mph limit. The longer this overgrowth is ignored the more damage it will do.
