Trees obscure view
Reported via mobile in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 08:01, Fri 30 August 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This corner is nearly blind to both road users and pedestrians .
Can we rectify this or add a mirror so when crossing from this side of the road we can see what is coming. I understand there is a crossing but there is no pathway . My daughter does a paper round in burcot every morning and nobody can see her until it's too late.
Thanks

Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are legally obligated to properly maintain vegetation on their property that is next to the public highway. If the vegetation affects the safety of highway users, it becomes their responsibility. However, in this instance, since the highway was not obstructed, there may not be sufficient cause to take further action at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation during statutory inspections.
