Overgrown verge obstructing crossing
Reported via mobile in the Hedges category anonymously at 19:27, Thu 29 August 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
The grass verge/hedges on the corner of Fernham Road (just after turning off Coxwell Road) are very overgrown. This is where many children and other pedestrians cross Fernham Road. It has sadly been overgrown for many months and currently means pedestrians have to walk into the road, on a corner, to see if it’s safe to cross. This is very dangerous especially when it’s children crossing. All other verges on this road have been cut, just not the one directly on the right corner as you go down Fernham Road.

This overgrowth has got worse and affects traffic flow and visibility at this point as it narrows the road. Why is it taking 3 months to “investigate”?
