Broken and unsafe barriers edging grass verge

Reported via desktop in the Other category anonymously at 07:17, Thu 29 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

A large section of the low wooden barriers edging the grass verge on right of Recreation Road (entering from Shipton/Hensington Roads has broken and its supports ripped out of the ground, rendering loose and wobbling the remainder of the run of barriers. The broken section is now lain on flat on the grass, and the remaining section is very loose in the ground and has a long and dangerous-looking spike at its tip. With the schools re-opening next week, these barriers need to be replaced as a matter of some urgency, before someone, possibly a child, is injured.
