Brambles encroaching on footpath

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category by Adrienne Patterson at 17:39, Fri 23 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The hedge beside the footpath on Littleworth road between the school carpark and Keydale Road is increasingly overgrown. Brambles are now growing across the path, some at head height, which could be extremely dangerous to a pedestrian with poor eyesight.

  • The hedge is pushing pedestrians into the road and BRAMBLES are growing across the path in multiple places and height. This could cause serious injury at night or to a partially sighted person including children. These brambles have backward barbs so when they grab your skin the push further in or even rip a gash. This is a very serious problem and a Health and safety risk. Please arrange a ct back before a serious injury is made or even a pedestrian being run over by a passing car as the path is becoming unusable. The brambles are becoming longer by the the day and grow very fast. Please take haste to fix this hazard please.
