Large areas of sunken road

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 10:31, Wednesday 21 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

With the acceptance of the Council that the roads in Herschel Crescent and Bodley Road have been severely damaged by the introduction of double decker buses and now with the banning of those services, the roads are now required to have full and complete repairs and re-surfacing completed. Your map does not allow me to fully indicate all the areas of severe damage, therefore all roads mentioned require immediate actions for long term rectification and not short term sub-standard patching of the very serious issues raised. Several of our cars have been damaged by the issues, which required replacement of tyres and suspension (receipted) and various issues noted within our property. This is a very serious issue as this is the second occasion I have raised the problems associated with the damaged roads.
