Overgrown and overhanging branches over pavement forcing pedestrians to step onto road. There is no footpath on other side of road and the road, the A4074 is very busy. The What3Words location is comet.blows.above.

Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are legally obligated to properly maintain vegetation on their property that is next to the public highway. If the vegetation affects the safety of highway users, it becomes their responsibility. However, in this instance, since the highway was not obstructed, there may not be sufficient cause to take further action at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation during statutory inspections.
