This is a deep sink hole and not a pothole and poses a risk to life if on a motorbike or pushbike .

This crater/sink hole has been there for 3 months, and has not been fixed effectively I This is life-threatening.!!. Most people try to swerve around it. but this is directly into the path of on-coming traffic. Going through it results in a terrible crash from the car suspension. .Its impossible to get a photo of it as there are no footpaths to approach it . Please treat this seriously before someone is seriously hurt!!

Drove along this piece of road for first time in 10 days today. Sink hole is significantly deeper. If you know it's there you don't drive through it as likely to cause damage to vehicle suspension, but to avoid you have to move into centre of road and path of oncoming traffic, at a point where the road narrows. As a sinkhole rather than a pot hole it doesn't have an 'edge and is therefore less visible and impossible to see in dark. It poses a significant hazard to cars but extremely dangerous for motorbikes. Impossible to take photo as no verge or footpath.

This sinkhole has progressively got deeper to the point that it will cause significant damage to any vehicle. If a motorcycle or bicycle were to hit it then I fear it could cause a major injury. This urgently needed repairing before a major incident occurs.
