Cycle path damaged by heavy vehicles

I have noticed that due to the parkings on the opposite side of the road at this place, large vehicle like buses and trucks are unable to cross each other and the result has been that on their way up these large heavy vehicle are driving on the cycle path to accommodate. In this process the cycle track has been and continue to be seriously damaged. It is in need of repairs, relevelling and protecting.

  • Thank you for your report. After a thorough investigation and risk assessment, we have determined that the issue warrants attention within 28 days. Other minor defects are not currently within intervention but 1 x marked area and 2 x gully drains have been scheduled for repair within the next 28 days
