Time Extension to Benson relief road works

The duration for the roadworks for the Benson relief road has been extended from 17th September to 4 October. Can someone in OCC, please explain to the residents why the schedule has changed and what further traffic measures will be put in place from September when the school goes back and traffic levels increase to mitigate the disruption caused by the extended schedule.
