Blockage of roadside footway
Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 19:45, Wed 14 August 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
A builder has cut deeply into the ancient raised pedestrian footway on the south side of the lane, obstructing it with a huge mound of earth and rendering it impassable. No warning notices or barriers are in place. What he has done here looks wholly illegal and he should be required to immediately restore the footway to its former condition.

I went past this location on a run so had no mobile phone with me with which to photograph and it’s a couple of miles from my home. But I can assure you the location marked is accurate to a few tens of metres and anyone passing by will have no trouble finding it !
