Weeds and brambles are encroaching on the pavement from the base of the wall creating a trip hazard, and soil and vegetation is encroaching from the road side of the pavement covering the surface.

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 12:35, Wednesday 14 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

We seem to have had "No Mow May, June, July and August" and it is very difficult for an older person, such as myself, to struggle through the vegetation. Trees and ivy are also overhanging the footpath, and thorny wild rose plants are also growing fast. In wet weather the footpath is impassable without taking great care and getting soaked, scratched and stung by nettles. The problem is worst between the mown area near the Lodges to the Thames Water Sewage Plant entrance. I believe other people have also reported the problem but as no action has been taken I wish to report it as well before I trip on the path.
