Series of potholes, with one jarring hole, on the upward part of the Port Hill dip heading towards Nuffield.

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 12:24, Wednesday 14 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

This has been a problem for well over 2 months. Heading from the BP in Nettlebed towards Nuffield, Port Hill dips then starts to climb again - and this is where the road surface is broken on nearside (extending out 2+ feet from pavement) with a succession of smaller potholes and then an alloy crunching larger/deeper one. The problem area ends before reaching the first house on LH side (The Brambles shown on the map). Given size and shape of area could be due to a failed prior repair or utilities trench. Currently you have to move to the middle of the road to avoid the major pothole; once hit you don't want to repeat - it's that bad!
