Very noisy manhole cover

This is an ongoing issue for the last 7 years, can a permanent solution to this issue be found please. I will pass this report on to my local councillor and MP Annalise Dodds. this is totally unacceptable.

Please see the manhole in the picture. One of them produces a very loud noise when a large vehicle, such as a bus, passes over it. It seems the surface beneath the cover is uneven. However, when small vehicles go over it, there doesn't seem to be an issue.
