Two potholes at junction of Dovehouse Close

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:11, Monday 12 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The potholes have been in situ for a number of months. The problem with them is that it is causing drivers to swerve onto the wrong side of the road as they enter the close and I have been involved in quite close near misses on a few occasions now, compelling me to make this request to have them repaired. What also makes this worse is that there are no double yellow lines at the entrance to Dovehouse Close and people do not observe rules about parking near the junction, meaning that more often than not there are parked vehicles further restricting the width of the road and exacerbating the problem, so I wonder if as a broader "fix" if we could have double yellow lines painted at the entrance to the close to allow vehicles to drive/queue on the correct side of the road at the junction. It's only a matter of time until there is a head on collision - albeit hopefully a slow one! Many thanks
