Pavement approaching road willow drive

Reported via mobile anonymously at 10:08, Monday 12 August 2024

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

At the end of willow drive there is a pavemet that is frequented by pedestrians and cyclists. This pavement joins to another and a a number of drop curbs.

This pavement is often blocked by vans and the pathways towards the road has no access for pedestrians and they have to go direct onto the road. I recently saw a young child cycle out of control from the pavement Into the road.

It might be beneficial and for safety to have some railings installed (similar to other areas on Southwold) to prevent this.

This would also ensure pavements are kept free and that drop kerbs are not being used and preventing driveway access.

The lamp post on this pavement is also being blocked and a barrier will ensure access to this for service vehicles.

Please help and consider this as I think there is an accident waiting for happen.
