Light on all day and night

Light appears to be on all the time, including during daylight hours. I have moved into a property on the road in the last fortnight and it has been the case for the entire time of my occupancy so far. It does not seem to me that the tree nearby would be blocking light to any sensor to dictate whether streetlight needed to be on but it is possible. I am unsure of the streetlighting policy in Oxfordshire but it seems superfluous to have this streetlight here at all due to the low volume of pedestrian traffic at the bottom of the cul de sac.
