Storm drain blocked

This drain cover has been blocked for months and so when it rains surface water just flows down the road overwhelming the drains further down. This could cause flooding and other problems.

  • Thank you for your report. Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for maintaining approximately 120,000 gullies on the highway network. Gullies are cleaned in accordance with the County Council’s maintenance policy, and we operate a targeting program with a higher frequency of cleaning in areas at risk of flooding.
