Foxborough Road Traffic Lights
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 09:59, Wed 7 August 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
For three weeks now there have been two sets of totally pointless traffic lights set up on Foxborough Road. No work is being performed on the road or the pavements. The signs and cones set up by the pointless traffic lights only narrow the road and the pavements causing larger vehicles problems as well as pedestrians. Please either have these lights removed, or have someone actually start ro do some work here.

They have now put a sign up to say that works will start after the bank holiday. That is ridiculous to put traffic lights up weeks before the works are due to start.
Not only this, the placing of all the roadworks signs has been over the top on the carriageway going towards the Bowyer Arms, with vehicles having to weave in between 3 sets of signs to just get to the lights where another sign tells you to wait.
