Resurfacing not completed

Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category by Ellie Wright at 13:48, Monday 5 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Marcham has recently had most of its pavements resurfaced. However, some areas in need of resurfacing have been left out. This section of Howard Cornish Road has a triangular patch of grass. Two sides of the triangle have been missed. They are in a very poor state of repair, and desperately need to be resurfaced. Please come back and finish the job!

  • Thank you for sending the contractors back to resurface the stretch of pavement originally missed. Unfortunately, they have just tarmacked over the existing weeds, which are now showing through the new surface within 48 hours. Actually this quality seems to be common all round the village. It seems that the job hasn’t been done properly at all, and won’t last very long.
