Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 19:09, Sun 4 August 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
All along Cumnor hill , pedestrians are unable to use the footpath due to overgrowth & having to step into the road to avoid. Could the overgrowth from 66 Cumnor hill to the top of the hill, be cut back & for the footpaths to be cleared of weeds, overgrowth & vegetation etc.

The trees and bushes along the part of the footpath are so overgrown and low hanging it's practically impossible for people to walk along the footpath, meaning pedestrians are forced to walk into the road instead. Please clear tge footpath.

This is still a big problem. I walk fairly frequently along Cumnor Hill on either side of the road, between Kimmeridge Road and Botley. There are many stretches along here where I - a fit and able person - am forced into the road because of a combination of overhanging foliage and soil/grass creeping onto the pavement surface, making it narrower.
In particular the stretch from Kimmeridge Road to the Colegrove Down bus stop (Botley direction) is especially highly travelled for obvious reasons, and some of the worst for this.
