Continually poor/hazardous road surface

Your Fixmystreet system has recently advised that the ‘problem’ in this 50m stretch of OCC highway has been fixed. I rode this same road today and can only see that one pothole has been patched since my original incident report in April24. The road still has a significant number of random potholes and fissures in the wearing course in places this is deteriorating into the base course and sub-base generating loose aggregate that all present a continued hazard to cyclists. This deterioration has now been ongoing for over four years and a proper repair is now urgently required before there is a more serious incident.
