The Zebra Crossing and zig zag road markings are worn out and need repainting

Reported via desktop by Christopher Sugden at 14:09, Saturday 3 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 1 minute later

The zebra crossing markings are worn out. Also there needs to be a warning sign on Willow Walk indicating that cyclists must STOP. Many come flying out of Willow Walk on to North Hinksey Lane without looking.

Council ref: ENQ241013156

  • Thank you for letting us know that the zebra crossing markings have become worn. Unfortunately, our budgets for this current financial year have nearly all been allocated and whilst your report has now been closed the matter has been recorded on our list for consideration within future programmed works.

We will advise with regards to your request for additional signage at a later stage.

  • Thank you

Will that be your excuse when there is an accident? This is an important matter and as a ratepayer I think funds should be found to deal with it as soon as possible

    Yours Sincerely
