Flooding village; blocked and full drains unable to cope and water has nowhere to go. Failing road surface damaging cars.

Reported via mobile in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 20:00, Thu 1 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Fast flowing rainwater very quickly floods the road in Stonor as it did today and the drains fill up quickly with debris from Park Lane and unable to cope with the volume of water running into the valley. Residents attempted to clear the drains but there is so much water that the drains are simply not coping. Houses in the village are in great danger of being flooded every time it rains. Please sort the drains and make way for the water to run away from the village. In addition to the danger of flooding properties, the water flooding the road in the past year has been ruining the road surface that is already failing damaging cars.
