Road drains unable to cope with rain.

Reported via mobile in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 19:09, Thursday 1 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Whenever it rains at all heavily the drains right through Stonor village are blocked by detritus from Park Lane where it is swept down the hill by the water flow. Today's thunderstorm resulted in the whole road being under fast-flowing water. Villagers went out with brooms and hoes to clear the grids as houses where in danger of being flooded. I understand that the grips on Park Lane are not maintained correctly, frequently causing this issue.
