Denmark house , 2 northfield end has been hit on 4 separate occasions by vehicles turning into bell lane from bell street. Corner is too tight for large modern vehicles. Bollard needed to protect the listed building

Reported via desktop anonymously at 12:11, Thu 1 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council 1 minute later

The corner of Denmark house ( 3 story listed building ) has been knocked/scraped by 4 separate vehicles trying to turn from bell st into bell lane and vice versa. The turn is too tight for large modern vehicles and delivery vans. I have put plant pots and metal plant protectors there post scrapes which have subsequently been smashed and dented. If the house is hit with force and structural damage occurs the house which is so large could topple into the lane and hit other smaller houses. A protective bollard at the corner would help with reflective strips as it is not lit and lots of delivery vans use the lane in the early hours of the morning to deliver to Rupert House school. The issue has occurred for over a year but now the school use bell lane as a permanent delivery entrance and nursery school entrance and summer club entrance the vehicular traffic has quadrupled.
