Investigating
Numerous significant potholes due to road edge erosion. Significant meaning over 300mm wide and 50-100mm deep. Being in a narrow part of the road tyre, wheel and suspension damage could be caused apart from the risk of injury to users of two wheeled vehicles.

These potholes have been here for many months and I’m sure you will have received many complaints or claims already. The damage is mainly on the south side of the carriageway.

The first one reported is opposite Cardinal house but there is extensive edge erosion and further significant pot holes on the RHS for a few metres as you head into the village. Treated separately these would require 10 further reports so hopefully that wont be required.
