Ragwort

Reported via mobile in the Grass category anonymously at 14:33, Tuesday 30 July 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

There is a large quantity of ragwort (controlled weed per Weeds Act 1959) growing on the verge here in Witney. In fact it is growing rampantly all over West Oxfordshire. I've seen it growing alongside most of the roads I drive down regularly (I live in OX7 5UB) and I've seen it growing in Witney, Oxford, Chipping Norton, Ascot-U-Wychwood, Banbury, and Chipping Norton. I don't have time to photograph each incident (although I will try and add more if time allows) but it appears to be growing unchecked in multiple locations which is quite concerning.
