Junction with Church Road and the A4074

Reported via desktop in the Current Roadworks - live information category anonymously at 16:12, Monday 29 July 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

This has already been reported but I fail to understand that with only one way into and out of Benson from the A4074 why a) no parking has not been temporarily enforced in Church Road and b) why there are not temporary three way lights to enable a smoother run of traffic. It is impossible to turn right unless some kind motorist lets you out, even when the pedestrian crossing stops the traffic , cars coming into Benson do not let cars turning right from Church road. Even if they do you take your life in your own hands by pushing your way out into traffic travelling towards Oxford. So many three way, four way lights are put up for reasons much less serious than this, so why not here? There is also now a rat run through Churchfield Lane because of this conjestion.
