Overgrown hedging, including brambles, sticking out over the footpath from the crossing to the bus stop. Pedestrians have to walk in the busy Dunmore Road in order to reach the bus stop.

Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are legally obligated to properly maintain vegetation on their property that is next to the public highway. If the vegetation affects the safety of highway users, it becomes their responsibility. However, in this instance, since the highway was not obstructed, there may not be sufficient cause to take further action at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation during statutory inspections.
