Wrong colour streetlight

Reported via desktop in the Other Lighting Issue category anonymously at 21:52, Thursday 25 July 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I reported that this streetlight had been fixed with a **white** light, not the **amber** light to be used in the Old Headington Conservation Area, and asked you to correct this. You sent me an email this morning saying that the wrong colour had been fixed. But this evening the streetlight is still white so the wrong colour has clearly not been fixed. Please correct this.

  • The reported colour of the light source has been verified as current in line with the manufacturer equipment, our energy and carbon reduction policy. Oxfordshire County Council can confirm that these are similar to others in the vicinity and there is no special arrangement with reference to colour of lamps in the conservation areas throughout the County of Oxfordshire.
