Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The verge on both sides of the road, from the Trout farm on the A361 to Burford and from Filkins to Kencot onwards on the B4477, is at least 1.5m high on both side of the road right up to the nearside road surface. .. this presents dangers both to road users, cars and lorries, and cyclists and wild life....
Please cut the verges mentioned.

Thank you for your enquiry. Oxfordshire County Council, as the Highway Authority, is ultimately responsible for the maintenance of grass verges alongside the carriageway network throughout Oxfordshire (excluding motorways and trunk roads). Under our new approach, all roadside verges in both rural and urban areas are cut once a year. If necessary, we will trim areas that impede driver visibility more regularly. For more details, you can refer to our Highway Verge and Vegetation Management policy at https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ sites/ default/ files/ file/ roads-and-transport-major-projects/ grasscuttingpolicy.pdf
