Overgrown hedges / bushes

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

As can be seen there is some vegetation/ trees/ bushes overgrown into the public footpath. It is possibly owned by a house on Lime crescent who won’t have access to it easily. There has been previous issues further up the path where confirmed it is OCC responsibility and Highways team rectified

  • Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are legally obligated to properly maintain vegetation on their property that is next to the public highway. If the vegetation affects the safety of highway users, it becomes their responsibility. However, in this instance, it would appear that this has been attended to
