Hedge over hanging the public footpath on the corner.

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category anonymously at 18:45, Monday 22 July 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Reference number: 6139452. This was reported by phone on 2 occasions and has still not been addressed. It is dangerous as it is on the bend, pedestrians therefore have to step on to the road to pass. The cars come flying around that corner very fast, will it take someone to be hit?!?

Council ref: ENQ241012022

  • The hedge STILL has not been cut back far enough. The council have been out to fix the broken curb, trimming the badge just enough for them to perform their work! I repeat, will it take someone to be hit by a car, before I’m listened to. This is a dangerous corner. Please do something?!

  • Reference number: 6139452 The hedge has still not been trimmed back! Further round the hedge opposite the shop, I witnessed a man and (possibly) his son trimming that hedge a week ago. The corner is still encroaching on the pathway. Please fix this before someone is hurt.

  • So the trees have been removed from the garden, they were never the problem. The hedge is still overgrown and encroaching on the pathway!
