Zebra crossing light electrical access hatch falling off again

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Zebra crossing light has had a damaged access hatch for several years. It has been reported several times but never fixed.

Years ago the catch that holds it in place got damaged. Since then it has been held on with tape. Currently a bit of insulating tape. This tape is failing.

  • We appreciate your vigilance and encourage you to report any future highway concerns. I have looked into this report as part of a housekeeping exercise. The fault was reported with no light number but it has been repaired with banding.
