Verges need maintaining
Reported via mobile in the Grass category anonymously at 21:59, Thu 18 July 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The verges and vegetation have grown significantly out in to the road along St Helens Avenue. A lot of cars park along the street and this is causing the road to become narrower and difficult to see around. There are a lot of walkers, children and pets which are in the vicinity and the verges have been allowed to creep too much into the road obscuring the view of more vulnerable road users and increasing the risk of an accident.

The vegetation is growing out over 1m into the road in places with large amount of vegetion at ground level extending approximately 0.5m out from the kerb stones damaging the road surface. And affecting drainage on the the road The low level vegetation was cut earlier this year but the road needs to be swept to remove the debris and stop it coming back
