Terribly managed roadworks

4 way traffic control on the roundabout for a tiny area in a layby being coned off with no one working on it. Badly timed lights resulting in queues all the way back to Wantage. Entire road brought to a standstill due to awful management.

  • I agree with above comment. It took me an hour to get from Wantage to the Harwell Campus, having left Wantage at 8am. The traffic was a standstill all the way from Wantage to Rowstock corner, with stupidly timed traffic lights, as usual, not taking into account the inordinate amount of traffic coming from the Wantage direction. On arriving at Rowstock Roundabout it was obvious that there was minimal queues on the other three roads coming into the roundabout. The piece of road coned off was tiny, with no work happening, What a waste of everyone's work time,
