Overgrown weeds on pathway, corner of ock drive. it includes stinging nettles and if someone was to fall over, could get badly hurt from the weeds and overgrown stinging nettles.

  • Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are legally obligated to properly maintain vegetation on their property that is next to the public highway. If the vegetation affects the safety of highway users, it becomes their responsibility. However, in this instance, since the highway was not obstructed, there may not be sufficient cause to take further action at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation during statutory inspections.
