Overgrown vegetation on cycle path

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation & maintenance category by Samantha fletcher at 13:22, Thu 11 July 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

2nd complaint of over grown vegetation and trees hanging down into cycle path. Not been cut back/cut down still, original complaint had been closed as resolved but nothing done. This is getting worse, the whole cycle path along A4130 needs cutting back as I have to duck, weave around the sticking out branches and constantly getting scratched by bramble or something every day.

Council ref: ENQ241010907

  • Thank you for cutting back the vegetation, there are a few areas where branches and so low from hanging over that you now need to duck your head really low, otherwise you will get knocked off your bike. Can this be looked into as well?

  • Area has still not been looked at with lots of over grown hanging down branches unsafe if windy to cyclists.
