Insufficient signage for "Give way to oncoming vehicles"

Reported via desktop in the Traffic Signs category anonymously at 11:34, Thursday 11 July 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The signage at non-traffic light controlled Radcot Bridges to inform traffic to give way to oncoming traffic is insufficent for the width of the roadway, at multiple locations along Radcot Road. There is no mixed arrow sign northbound to indicate that traffic has priority over oncoming vehicles over Pidnell Bridge, just past Ye Olde Swan. Likewise there are no mirrors around the blind corner.

Similarly, there is no signage at all at the bridge south of Radcot main bridge, which is not wide enough for two way traffic. Further, there is insufficient signage warning of the steep and narrow nature of Radcot Bridge (which has resulted in significant damage to the listed bridge).
