Unnecessarily long white line

Next to number 10 east street there is a single white line on the road that is unnecessarily long preventing people parking decently from both sides of the driveway entrance. This is restricting parking from east street and eastern terrace by a car on each side. This is causing a build up of parking being filtered elsewhere as people are unable to park near their houses. the line needs to be shorter to accommodate the additional spaces which people are currently not using in fear of parking on the white line.
