Deep pothole 9”x15”

My son was driving slowly along this road (I was a passenger) the tyre went into the pothole and the car suddenly stopped. I thought at first the tyre had burst but the wheel has been ripped and was completely out of line. We were unable to move/push the car which was near to a bend creating a hazard to other drivers. We had to get a friend with a 4x4 to help us move the car. We are waiting for a mechanic to asses the car to see if it can be repaired but it may be written off. My son has just passed his test and this has shaken his confidence sadly. These potholes need to be repaired
